From the free eXPerience and SimpleOS to the shareware PocketWin and PPX3k, you've got a lot of options if you want to smooth the transition to a Windows mobile device by making it behave more like the desktop you're used to. I've always had a love-hate relationship with my Windows Mobile phone and what I consider to be a very clunky interface, but it's one that I sort of worked out after installing Wisbar Advanced (also mentioned in the post) and a really nice theme.
